MSSC STRUGGLE REPORT (04-04-15)

First of all: Congratulation for the real winner of yesterday¡¯s parliamentary elections Democratic Labor Party (¹ÎÁֳ뵿´ç)!!. Later more about it.
Yesterday we had a small rally in Deahak-no¡¯s Marronier Park, but because many of our members are right now in their home regions to organize our comrades for the next struggle period only few migrant workers joined the rally. But many self-organized students, like ³ëµ¿Çعæ Çлý¿¬´ë, Àü±¹ ´ëÇлý °íµ¿Çൿ, at least 100, joined the rally and the following demonstration to Jongmyo Park. After arrival there one representative of the struggle collective went to the protest rally against the visit of US vice president Cheney here (we already wrote about it here). About 350 people gathered near the US embassy and expressed their anger about the visit, but also about government¡¯s decision to send additional 3.000 combat troops to occupied Iraq. On this rally you could get unfortunately also evidence for a kind of persecution complex connected with the impeachment process of Roh:

Just crazy idea, especially on a day where many people had, respectively used the possibility to elect a real (hopefully) progressive party.
Now perhaps, according to the last computer forecast, DLP will have 11 seats in the parliament (NA). Of course it is clear that they can¡¯t change nothing there, but they can use the NA as a platform to speak out about exploited and oppressed people. On the other side if there is no active mass movement against exploitation and oppression the progressive parliamentarians will shout in ¡°black holes¡±! They will need our non-parliamentarian opposition, our daily activities on the street! The first step should be, beside to organize migrant workers much more better as before, to create a mass movement against troop dispatching plan. Here or here is the ammunition for our struggle. A government, which is supporting things like that is also criminal. But if we don¡¯t try to make the strongest efforts to avoid the troop dispatching, respective bring the S. Korean soldiers back home, we will be also guilty! So our next duty should be to create daily situations appropriate to achieve our demands!!
Perhaps you remember our report about the cultural festival of disabled people last week?! Here you can watch a beautiful (¾Æ¸§´Ù¿î!!! Made by ½£¼ÓÈ«±æµ¿) short movie about the event!
